The Bangkok Produire au Sud Workshop 2014

The Bangkok Produire au Sud Workshop 2014 is a 3 days local training workshop dedicated to emerging producers and directors from the ASEAN countries : Brunei, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The workshop aims at familiarizing young professionals with a variety of important tools and international coproduction techniques by coaching individual projects in development.

Five film projects will be selected to take part of the PRODUIRE AU SUD workshop which will take place October 23-25, 2014 in Bangkok (Thailand). It is initiated by Produire au Sud/Festival des 3 Continents and World Film Festival of Bangkok, and supported by the French Embassy in Thailand and the French regional office dedicated to cooperation with ASEAN (French ministry of foreign affairs).

 Pedagogical team :

The workshop will be led by four experienced professionnals from different backgrounds and work fields. Both of the thai speakers, Pimpaka Towira and Soros Sukhum have run a previous Produire au Sud workshop,
either in Nantes 2011 or in Bangkok 2006.
