Saltimbank

  • France / 2003 / 92 min

  • Director : Jean-Claude Biette

Synopsis

Frederic runs the family bank and his brother Bruno, the helder, only a minor executive, having relinquished his position in order to finance a theater. Gravitating around them are their niece, Vanessa, whom each dreams of taking under his wing, Eve and Jim, a couple caught in lies and betrayal, and a strange French director living in exile in Berlin... As usual, money, or the lack thereof, sheds the most revealing light on people, and, for the audience, provides a larger field of observation in this comedy.
