Synopsis

On a lonely country road near the German-Polish border, a smuggler is on his tour, when he runs over a dog. Suddenly a girl appears and claims that the dog belonged to her. She puts pressure on the man who still suffers a bit from shock. The least he could do was to bury her beloved animal - exactly at the spot her dead dog will "tell" her, however. On the seemingly endless drive to this place they get into a police control. Luckily, the smuggler has already delivered his goods and the both of them fend off further mistrusting questions by saying they are father and daughter. But when the officer discovers the dead dog in the car, the girl loses his self-control and knocks him out. This is too much for the smuggler: He buries the dog in a field and drives off. Afterwards he notices that his companion has stolen his entire earnings. Yet he needs the money urgently to pay his debts with a dangerous gangster. When finally he finds the girl and requests his money back, she says she would only do this under one condition . . .
