Cool & Crazy On the Road is the story of 30 singers from a small fishing village on the northernmost tip of Europe and their encounter with a nation in mourning and fear, an angry nation. Through song they comfort the people who experienced the catastrophe in New York. They encounter Scandinavian America in the Midwest, arrive as stars in Hollywood, and walk in the footsteps of Elvis in Memphis. During their visit the United States attacks Afghanistan and the country is threatened by an outbreak of anthrax. This film follows their concert tour through the U.S. from coast to coast, their encounter with a nation and a culture literally miles from their own, and their thoughts and reflections about their experiences during these fateful days, not just for the U.S., but for the entire world.
